Katie had the most beautiful day in September to say “I do” to her handsome husband! She wore a jaw dropping crepe dress by Calla Blanche’s L’Amour Collection.

 

 

Katie’s hair was done beautifully by Jade Beauty Co in Wheaton IL Make up by Francesca and flowers by Oh My! Floral

 

Katie and Adam shared their love with close friends and family at Riverside Receptions in Geneva IL.

Carly & Jake have a love story like no other.  They met on Carly’s first day of college orientation and it has been true love ever since.  After almost 10 years later, a move across the country and a few life challenges, they were able to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family at Emerson Creek Pottery & Tea Room in Oswego IL.

Carly is a dear friend of mine and has been for years.  Her and Jake have a beautiful, unconditional love that is infectious when you’re able to spend time with them.   Celebrating their wedding was a complete honor and wish we could do it all over again!!

 

 

Carly’s “Something Borrowed” was her sisters accessories from her wedding.  She purchased her earrings, bracelet and veil at The Crystal Bride as well.

 Carly wore an Essense of Australia gown with ivory lace and moscato lining.  Her off the shoulder, aline gown was unlined through the bodice and gave her that sexy, casual feel she always wanted.

Carly and her sister Mallory have always been as close as can be.  She opted against a big bridal party and asked her most important person to stand by her side.

Carly and Jake had a very special display of those who couldn’t be there to celebrate with them. It was an absolute beautiful tribute that brought tears to my eyes.  Carly’s dad, Tom, would have been so happy to see Carly’s genuine smile throughout her big day.

Carly’s gorgeous train was a dream on the dance floor.  It literally danced across the floor all night long.

FAQ:

–What is a trunk show?

A showcase of the newest bridal gowns from one particular designer. These are current gowns that are typically not in the store. This is an amazing opportunity to see tons and tons of styles from a particular designer. Photos are welcome !

–Do I need an appointment?

YES!! Absolutely! In order to try these styles on, you do need a skilled consultant working with you. She will be able to answer any questions about each gown, help you in and out of each style as well as give you color options, proper fit information and be able to get the dress on order for you.

–Do you have a variety of sizes to try on?

YES!! Absolutely yes! The Crystal Bride loves teaming up with Essense of Australia to bring the most beautiful, body inclusive styles to our brides. That being said, Essense will be sending a variety of sizes to try on and give you the best experience imaginable. Every Body, Every Bride is a campaign that Essense of Australia is extremely passionate about and wants every bride to feel her very best!

 

–Why do you do a trunk show?

The feedback from a real bride is better than anything! We take your feedback into consideration, (things you like and dislike) and report back to the designer. It helps us be better at our jobs and service you to the best of our abilities.

 

–What do I bring?

An open mind! We have strapless bras, jewelry, a small selection of shoes, etc. Trunk shows tend to get a little hectic, so we do request you don’t bring a large group with you to shop, it becomes a bit overwhelming.

–How long does it take for the trunk show dresses to come in once I order?

The dresses will take the typical 4-6 moths to arrive. Don’t forget about alterations! Typically 3-4 months for those to be competed!!
