1. Do I need an appointment?
Yes! Appointments ensure you have a dedicated bridal stylist and a private fitting area so you receive our full attention.
2. How long is a bridal appointment?
Our bridal appointments are approximately 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore different styles without feeling rushed.
3. How far in advance should I shop for my wedding dress?
We recommend shopping 9–12 months before your wedding. Most gowns take several months to arrive, and you’ll also want time for alterations.
4. What if my wedding is sooner than that?
Don’t worry! We have off-the-rack gowns, discontinued samples, and many designers offer rush options. Contact us and we’ll help find the best solution.
5. What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
Our gowns range from approximately $1,500–$5,000, with the majority falling between $2,000–$3,000.
6. What designers do you carry?
List your designers here, for example:
- Maggie Sottero
- Martina Liana
- Essense of Australia
- Stella York
- Madi Lane
- Sophia Tolli
- Allure Bridals
…and others.
7. How many guests can I bring?
We recommend bringing up to four guests so everyone can comfortably enjoy the experience and you can focus on finding your dress.
8. What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring:
- Nude undergarments
- Strapless bra (optional)
- Hair tie if you have long hair
- Inspiration photos
- An open mind!
9. Can I take photos?
Absolutely! Once you’ve narrowed down your favorites, we’ll gladly help you capture photos to compare your top choices.
10. What sizes do you carry?
Our sample gowns range across many sizes. Bridal sizing differs from everyday clothing, and we’ll help determine the best fit regardless of the sample size you try on.
11. Why is bridal sizing different?
Bridal sizing typically runs 1–2 sizes smaller than regular street clothing. Don’t focus on the number—we’ll take professional measurements and recommend the correct size.
12. Do you offer alterations?
Yes. We work with experienced independent bridal seamstresses who specialize in wedding gowns. Alterations are scheduled separately after your gown arrives. These appointments are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis depending on when your dress arrives to the store.
13. When should I start alterations?
We recommend beginning alterations approximately 3 months before your wedding.
14. How many alteration appointments will I need?
Most brides will have 2–3 fittings, depending on the alterations needed.
15. Do you sell dresses off the rack?
Yes! We have a selection of sample and discontinued gowns available to purchase and take home the same day.
16. Can I customize my wedding dress?
Many designers offer customization options, including neckline changes, sleeves, lining, trains, overskirts, fabric options, and more. We’ll discuss what’s available for each gown.
17. Do you carry veils and accessories?
Yes! We offer veils, jewelry, belts, headpieces, and other bridal accessories to complete your wedding day look.
18. What if I don’t find my dress during my first appointment?
That’s perfectly okay! Your stylist will learn what you love (and don’t love), making future appointments even more productive.
19. When do I pay for my dress?
Special-order gowns require at least 50% of payment at the time the order is placed. We’ll review all ordering details before submitting your gown.
