Juliya married the love of her life, Tommy, on April 19, 2026. The two said I Do in the Naper Settlement church that is nestled in the beautiful 13-acre outdoor history museum. Following the ceremony, they went to Seven Bridges Golf Club where they celebrated their love with their family and friends.

Juliya is wearing the Emmanuelle dress by Maggie Sottero. This dress features a chic basque waistline with a luxurious satin fabric that embodies regal drama with a twist. Juliya, you are a beautiful bride!

The Walker’s Love Story

“We met on Bumble. He loved a photo of me with my grandpa, and I loved his smile.” – Juliya
The two chatted for a while before deciding to meet for a “coffee” date. The funniest part about this was that neither of them like coffee, so it was a horchata and tea date, instead. They talked for hours; the conversation was natural and comfortable… neither one wanted the date to end. They left that date with the same goal in mind– to continue getting to know each other.

Their relationship started long-distance, so they built their relationship over lots of phone conversations and many weekends together. They enjoy the simple things of life like going for long walks, family, and just spending genuine quality time together. Juliya has been coined as a “master planner of trips”, so the two have also embarked on many adventures along the way.

Their proposal took place on the beach in New Buffalo, Michigan. Tommy had been keeping a notebook that held a wish list of activities he wanted to check off with Juliya over their lifetime. He secretly added a new entry… “Get Engaged” and asked Juliya if she’s like to check that one off as he got down on one knee.

“From meeting on Bumble to going on our first “coffee” date. From handshakes to our first kiss in downtown Naperville (just a few blocks from where we got married). From lockdowns to trips around the world. From moves and new jobs to typical Wednesdays. From chasing a solar eclipse to seeing Woodstock Willie on Groundhog Day. It all led to our next greatest adventure.” – Juliya

When did you know your dress was the one?

It fit perfectly and made me feel beautiful! I loved the long train – which is not something I had envisioned. I always loved the idea of long lace sleeves so adding the lace piece over the strapless dress put my vision together! I loved having two completely different looks with one dress 🙂

Juliya’s Crystal Bride Experience

Amazing! I truly enjoyed and looked forward to my fittings and seeing everyone. Everyone I worked with was so kind and supportive! Sofia was the one that helped me find my dress and she was so patient and kind 🙂

Favorite Wedding Day Moment?

During the ceremony when our pastor had us turn and face all of our friends and family. When we were able to look at everyone and all the love and support in the room. It was so special to be there together and to have everyone there wishing us blessings. It was really wonderful.

Juliya’s Advice to Future Brides

Enjoy the day and soak it all in! It really is the best day!

If you’re searching for a wedding gown that feels equal parts fashion-forward and romantic, the Nate gown by Madi Lane deserves a spot at the top of your must-try list. Designed for brides who love clean structure, luxurious texture, and elevated details, Nate is quickly becoming a favorite for modern weddings.

With its sculpted silhouette, floral jacquard fabric, and statement-making skirt, Nate is the perfect blend of editorial sophistication and timeless bridal romance.

Here’s Why The Nate Gown Stands Out

The Nate gown stands out because it feels effortlessly fashion-inspired while still remaining incredibly wearable. The strapless scoop neckline creates a flattering, feminine shape, while the structured corset bodice provides support and definition through visible seam detailing and a sculpted Basque waist.

One of the most eye-catching details is the luxe floral jacquard fabric. Unlike traditional lace, the textured jacquard adds dimension and richness, giving the gown a couture-inspired look that photographs beautifully from every angle.

The asymmetric A-line skirt features a playful pickup bubble hem paired with a subtle leg slit, creating movement and drama without feeling overwhelming. Hidden layers of soft tulle underneath add volume and contrast, making the gown feel light, airy, and effortlessly romantic.

Nate Is Fashion-Forward

Nate is ideal for brides who want something modern yet timeless. The gown combines current bridal trends — like Basque waistlines, structured corsetry, and textured fabrics — with classic bridal elegance.

This gown is especially stunning for:

  • Luxury ballroom weddings
  • Estate or country club venues
  • Chic city celebrations
  • Editorial-inspired bridal looks
  • Brides wanting a clean gown with standout detail

The silhouette gives brides the drama of a statement dress while maintaining an effortless softness that feels romantic rather than overdone.

It’s All in the Details…

From the architectural waistline to the soft volume of the skirt and the elegant row of buttons down the back, every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a gown that feels elevated, unique, and unforgettable.

The Nate gown also has a few customization options. The gown is available in multiple variations, including:

  • Satin with no slit variation
  • A version without the skirt slit
  • A satin version for a more minimalist look

Real Bride, Haley, married her perfect match, Caleb, on November 11, 2025. The wedding took place at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau, a breathtaking venue located above Estes Park, Colorado at the Fall River entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Haley is wearing Essense of Australia style D3631. This gown exudes luxe glamour with its simple and chic pleated bodice and voluminous A-line skirt that unfolds into a stylish side slit and full train for a striking statement. Haley, you are stunning!

The Green’s Love Story

Haley and Caleb met in 2016 at Illinois Wesleyan University in their freshman year econ class. They became part of the same friend group and built a genuine friendship. As time went on, they couldn’t deny that were more than friends and started dating a year after they met. Since then, they’ve taken countless trips together, lived in different cities/states/countries at times, and have began building their lives together in Chicago. They got engaged at the Chicago Botanic Gardens on 5/4/2024 and started planning their dream wedding immediately! Colorado was the perfect place for the two to get married because Caleb grew up there, Haley has family there, and they’ve made so many memories there already. They got married in Estes Park, CO on 11/2/25 and are now living in their first apartment together in Chicago!

We asked Haley to describe when she knew her dress was the one…

I had a pretty specific vision coming into my appointment, and we were able to replicate that Pinterest vision board pretty perfectly! I knew my dress was the one when I put it back on after trying other dresses, and it just felt like it was meant for me. I already knew I wanted a specific style (A-line, classic, slight texture on the bodice, slit in the leg), which matched the fourth dress I tried on. But we obviously tried other styles after that, which left me feeling a bit uncertain – I tried on a big ballgown that I actually loved, but just felt overwhelmed (and hot with all the fabric) and wasn’t sure how I’d be able to decide. Then, I put my dress back on and literally said “this feels so much more like me.” I couldn’t take it off after that!

Haley’s Crystal Bride Experience

I tend to be an indecisive person, so I knew choosing a wedding dress would probably be difficult. However, shopping at Crystal Bride made it such an enjoyable experience, and they didn’t make me feel rushed when trying to make such a big decision. I think I ended up standing in the mirror past my appointment time once I had found the one but was struggling to make it official. They listened to what I wanted but also had me try on other styles I didn’t think I’d like just to make sure I got to try everything and be certain in my choice! I truly felt like I had the ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ experience that I dreamed of for years! We ended up coming back to Crystal Bride to get my mom’s dress as well, and we had an amazing experience that time too!

Favorite Wedding Day Moment?

Our wedding day was by far the best day of our lives – it’s so hard to pick just one moment! We absolutely loved our outdoor ceremony surrounded by mountains & trees at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park; that was one of the most special parts of the day for sure. My cousin who’s a pastor in France performed our ceremony and it was perfect; we also had live string instruments playing the processional/recessional music, a moment of prayer with our families with worship music, and personal vows that left everyone in tears. Colorado is such a special place to us and getting married to my best friend surrounded by all our loved ones was so overwhelming and emotional. Other highlights were the speeches from our best men, maid & matron of honor, and my dad, followed by dancing all night on the dance floor to our favorite songs! We never wanted the day to end.

Haley’s Advice to Future Brides

Try to enjoy the wedding planning process! It can be overwhelming and stressful budgeting, asking people to spend money for all the events, planning all the little details, and trying to make everyone happy. But you only get one wedding so try to enjoy the process with your fiancé and remember that everyone who wants to celebrate you will be there and support you! Don’t be afraid to ask people for help.

We also used our venue’s preferred vendor list for most of our vendors which helped eliminate some of the research and also ensured everything would run smoothly; we typically looked through the preferred vendors and went with the most affordable option that we also felt a good connection with.

Another more specific practical tip is to use Costco for flowers to save thousands – we ordered white roses & baby’s breath from Costco and put together all our own bouquets and they turned out AMAZING (thanks to help from family/friends to put them all together two days before the wedding). We probably spent $500 on Costco flowers and $250 on fake flowers for floral arrangements, vs spending $5k+ like we were quoted from florists.
